I set up a GoFundMe for my top surgery.

I'm 18 years old, non-binary (ftm) transgender and just finished school; this fundraiser is to help me raise money for my top surgery. My dysphoria has become unbearable to the point where I hardly leave the house now. I'm going with a private surgeon as the NHS has proven to make it incredibly difficult for me to be sent to a GIC let alone for top surgery. It will also take about 3 years for a surgery date if I go via the NHS... I can't hold on that long anymore. If I can pay £6,000 in the next few months, I can get my surgery this year... Which would be incredible and truly a life saver to me.

I'll be honest, I've been anxious to start this up because I feel bad asking others for money, but only just coming out of school with no job makes £6,000 look impossible to achieve in time. After a lot of support and convincing from my family and girlfriend I decided to start a fundraiser for my top surgery.

Any amount, no matter how small, will be HUGELY appreciated. If you can't donate spreading the word would help me out just as much! Thank you so much for your time.

As gofundme does take a percentage off of the donations, you can also paypal me instead if you'd rather 100% goes towards my surgery. My paypal is: jamie.sora@hotmail.com

Good luck!!! I really hope this turns out well for you! Living with dysphoria is awful; I hope you can get the surgery done as soon as possible. Setting up the gofundme account was a really smart move. I know some people have also tried selling accessories and stuff on etsy to fund their surgeries, so if you're able to make anything craft-like (bracelets, hats etc) that might be worth looking into just to get some extra cash saved for the surgery/making your recovery more comfortable.

Also the url you posted says that it can't be found (just thought I should mention that in case something is wrong with it).
